I went from Music to a successful career in Customer Success

 
As a committed musician and educator, I dove into the world of business and tech through a graduate research project. I was exploring how the arts can enhance business skills.
 
Long story short, there's so much creativity, improvisation and human connection that businesses should learn from the arts.
 
So, I replaced piano, performance and teaching with SaaS solutions and strategic customers. 
 

I went from Music to a successful career in Customer Success

Long story short, there's so much creativity, improvisation and human connection that businesses should learn from the arts.

It’s empathy, genuine understanding and the desire to help others reach their goals. In all simplicity - it's the people. The way we interact, the way we help each other grow and achieve business goals. Even in companies, the successes come because of the people.
 
That's how I discovered Customer Success and decided to make it my career. I went all in, grabbing every industry book and certification, soaking up learning opportunities and seeking out mentorship.
 
I was obsessed with becoming a 'go-to' person in every company I joined, to 'compensate' for having an 'untraditional background'. I just wanted to learn and grow.
